Home » Capital Investments Capital Investments We have created a unified and simple online experience for those who want to save and invest as part of a long-term plan based on the diversification of financial assets. Choose the assets you want to invest in: shares, bonds, government securities, ETFs, structured products Discover over 3,000 shares with ownership Invest in local and international companies Fund units Some people prefer a single flavor, others want a cocktail – because it’s harder not to like something that combines multiple tastes. That’s exactly how investment funds work – diversified portfolios that offer broad exposure through a single investment. It’s like the difference between investing in solar panels and investing in the energy market as a whole. Funds can be open-ended (ETFs or mutual funds) or closed-ended. ETFs are traded on at least one exchange, with the trading price determined by market supply and demand. Mutual funds can be converted into cash only through redemption by the issuing fund. Closed-ended funds can fall into either category. Fund units are the instruments that grant ownership over a portion of an investment fund’s assets. Why would you choose them? We’ll give you one word – diversification. Sounds good. How much does it cost? Citește mai multe Structured Products If we had to guess, we would say you are not reading these lines because you have decades of experience in finance and manage your own fund – and if we are mistaken, we apologise. We start this way because structured products are instruments designed to provide a broad range of investors with the opportunity to invest in underlying assets (equity indices, shares, bonds, ETFs, currency pairs, commodities) that would otherwise be inaccessible via the spot market, or accessible only without the leverage effect that can amplify gains … or losses. These are hybrid instruments combining elements of the spot market with those of the derivatives market. As an investor, your maximum loss is limited to the amount invested in the structured product. At the same time, by purchasing a structured product, you also assume the issuer’s credit risk (typically a bank or broker), in addition to the central counterparty risk associated with derivatives markets, which is generally considered minimal. Citește mai multe Equities If a company were a cake, then a stock would be a slice of it, a delicious piece of the company’s equity. Unlike the slice above, stocks give you more rights and zero calories. You are entitled to a share of the company’s profit in the form of dividends, you can sell your stocks, request information about the company’s financial situation, receive a share of the remaining assets after debts are paid in case of liquidation, and benefit from pre-emptive rights in case of capital increases. Citește mai multe Bonds Think of it this way: a friend wants a loan and promises to repay the full amount at maturity. In the meantime, there are moments when you receive interest at predefined intervals. And you can transfer their debt to someone else – maybe someone values the interest more and is willing to cover your initial investment plus something extra. Now imagine that your friend – the issuer – could be a country, a supranational entity, or a corporation. The loan would be called a bond, maturity would still be maturity, the dates when you receive interest would be called coupon dates, and transferring the loan would be the moment when you trade bonds on the stock exchange. Citește mai multe Rights It’s time to talk to you about rights. Don’t be scared, you don’t need a civics textbook, a lawyer, or hours of explaining what is or isn’t inalienable – because in this case, rights are financial instruments. Moreover, they are temporary and only issued when a capital increase is implemented. And there are only two: allocation and preference. Do you have allocation rights? You receive, without consideration, a number of shares determined by the AGM’s decision to increase capital. Do you have preference rights? You can buy a number of stability shares by the AGM. That’s it. I told you we won’t keep you for long. Citește mai multe Are you ready to invest? Start today, with just 100 RON.
